The corporate media seem to have accepted Donald Trump\u2019s emphasis on the economic problems of working class Whites. This ignores the fact African-Americans experience more\u00a0of these same stressors, as we are reminded\u00a0in this video from the centrist think tank, the Brookings Institution<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>None of these statistics\u2013with the exception of the marijuana arrest rate\u2013tell us whether the problems of\u00a0Black Americans are a result of racial discrimination or some other cause.
